This is an educational clip with the express intention to inform the nonchocolate lovers.
Walking into the convenience store, I noticed the lone occupant behind the counter. Not wasting a second, I said "I need chocolate". He pointed towards the display rack. My eyes searched throroughly. Ghirardelli? Sees? Godiva? No, not at this store. A Snickers will have to do.
"Curing a sweet tooth?" he asked with a smile.
As I approached the register, I responded "No, that would imply that I have a problem. I'm not addicted to chocolate. I don't have to attend Chocoholics Anonymous meetings. I prefer to think of myself as a connoisseur." After sighing, I asked "Wouldn't it be great to get paid to taste chocolate?!"
"If you were a taster, wouldn't you have to spit it out like the wine tasters' do?"
"Oh!! What a horrible thing to say!" I stared at this obviously misinformed teenager. "That would be sacrilegious!"
His expression should that he wanted me to leave.
I turned and started for the door, but paused. I turned back towards the counter. As he looked up, I asked "Would you mind opening this for me? My hands are still shaking too much."
