this is my theory.Pure speculation with no REAL evidence. The problem of all scientists etc
                                            The Eternal Question.

What is the meaning of life?

We have often wondered WHY we were put on this earth. Why does the grass grow? Why do the birds sing?

We go through life completing things that make us whole. Trying to achieve our dreams our ambitions and aspirations. For some this means achieving career goals. For others it is to raise a healthy and happy family. But we all have our dreams.

Philosophizes and scientists alike have laboured trying to answer the questions stated above. There are many theories. But none can be proven. There is not a single theory that can be supported with scientific evidence. Because for each of us there is a different answer. The question that is being asked is not one that anything we have on earth can answer for us. There is no quest that we all try to fulfil none but the quest for survival. None but (for humans at least) the want to follow our dreams.

When I first began thinking about this question I came up against a mental barrier. The first thing I envisaged was people going to work in cities and farms. But that does not answer the question. Yes this is something that some of us DO with the time we've been given on earth. But it is doubtful that it is the reason. Why? Because apart from the enjoyment you’re supposed to get from your career we go to work to earn money. Money, was not put on this earth by unknown forces (I say unknown forces because though the big bang is what caused life on earth to start, it does not explain what caused the big bang!)  WE, us humans, created money as apart of our culture. In Ancient times people traded food and other goods in exchange for things we need. Now money has become a cultural base in the western civilisation especially.  So, how can the reason we're on earth be to go to work and earn money?

A mother raises her child so that it will learn the ways of their culture and grow and thrive and be able to do well. To survive. This is true of all mammals.

From the time an organism is born, whether it is bacteria, reptile, insect, plant, bird or mammal. It begins its fight for survival. Our lives, the lives of everything placed on this earth have one point. To survive. When you remove all but what is necessary for survival you see that our survival has nothing to do with money or work or ANYTHING. In ancient times People lived off the land, as we still do but we no longer have to hunt or farm our lives are lives of convenience. Some one ELSE farms the crops someone else raises and butchers the cattle. And we hand them some money in return.

We begin our struggle as babies. From the moment we are born. We fight disease, hunger, war, etc. you hear people saying that we are born to die. In many ways this is correct but what about the in-between? If we are born to die then there are so many ways to die that it's frightening. You can die of old age, starvation, and drowning, poisoning, electrocution, fire the list goes on and on. Some of these causes are natural some are not. But many of us die when we are old due to natural causes. Up till that point we become fragile, stiff, sore etc. our skin becomes looser and we gain wrinkles. We freckle we tan but NONE of us are EXACTLY the same when we die. In side or out.

I have thought about all of these things. And have come to ONE conclusion.
We were put on this earth to live. To survive to ENJOY what we have. And then to die. What we do with time in-between is entirely our choice. But at the end of the day we all must die. But the meaning of our lives is to live our lives to the fullest. to enjoy ones life to the point that when you die you look back at all your mistakes worries heartbreak, the sweat muscle and effort you have put in and through everything you can look back and say I have enjoyed my life.

My departing words to you are to live your life like every day is your last. Yes it's a cliché but they are wise words. Live your life with passion, enjoy. Never hold back. Don’t live to regret.

                                                                                        ........good luck.
