My selfish outlook on my best friend's loss. This ties in with "A Message from Beyond".
Stuck in a dark chamber of unknowing,
forward motion you hesitate to get going.
Affection and love you think you now lack,
but your family and friends, they want you back.
Hoping and praying you won't hurt anymore,
here I'll sit, beside your closed door.
Pain, anger, and depression you have succumb.
Leaving your mind and body tingling and numb.
Knowing you need your time and your space.
I wish you would withdraw from that awful place.
When your heart aches no longer, and you can't feel the burn,
outside the door, I'll be awaiting your return.
Come on out, when you have your emotions in line,
because your loss has become, a great loss of mine.
