falling for someone but they don't fall for you
Breathless
I can't find a deep breath
Whirling winds sing love songs
butterflys wildly flying
to wide open oceans or feelings
My brown eyes glisten
in your presence, where I
crack a little smile that means
everything, and gives away
my secret.
I see pure emotion when I
look in your giant dark eyes.
I see what no one else can find,
from goodness to greatness,
and all that's in betweeen.
I fall and fall and fall
until I fell
I fell for you and everything
that you are, but truthfully
I know you didn't fall for me.
You never saw my smile
that wanted to let you in.
You never saw my eyes
crying for your attention, or
maybe you did, but only at your
convienence.
Never in my life have I felt
so ignorant, so naive, but
I would fall for you again, even
though it caused me pain.
I felt a natural ecstacy, that
I never wanted to leave.
I thought you felt something for me,
but that's never going to happen,
because I'm incapable of being loved.
Just know I felt things, I never
knew existed.
I fell so hard for you that I drowned
in your ocean, never to be revived,
never to be recovered.
I look at you and my eyes are screaming,
screaming for you.
I want to let you go, and forget,
but I can't.
Just tell me, tell me
why her and not me.
