Wrote in reference to John Constiple's painting Stonehenge.
Stonehenge

Hard as rock
Solid as stone
Laying in a pile
Maybe not so sound, but quite alone

I visit you for comfort
I look to you for release
You may just be a mound of granite
But you're my only peace

In a life where I don't matter
I'm just one among the crowd
It may sound strange but you're the only
One that hears me strong and loud

So I come here when my life's too much
Under a sky of black and blue
Just a pile of broken rocks and dreams
And of blissful days so few.
