A poem to go along with a picture my cousin took.
A girl,
in her own little world,
is mocked by
those who don't even know her.

A girl,
who puts her emotions,
through the beauty of ballet,
seems to be an amazing dancer.

A girl,
using her pointe shoe,
creates magic
that no one even knows about.

A girl,
turning her dance
into a hidden home,
where no one can see her cry.

I am the girl,
in her own little world,
In a way, I'm...
The Broken Ballerina.
