All about Common sense...
COMMON SENSE - A PROBLEM by Andy Jackson

This goes through my mind periodically and makes me smile all the time (a sad smile, but a smile none the less)...how can common sense be common if nothing on this planet seems to have anything in common with sense?

How can we have a society that labels things as "Common" or "Normal" when almost every example that could be put into these labels instantly falls away from them due to some difference (be it tiny) from any of the others labelled normal...

I am unique, just like everybody else...

Let me give an example...a normal family...in English culture this would probably be separated parents and disillusioned children, since they make up the majority in surveys...but this would not be the considered "normal", for "normal" does not mean normal in our language, it means "what the system decree's as acceptable" or "what constitutes a good robot (Human - if you prefer)"...

Why pursue normality?
What drives us to seek the mundane ness of the sameness?
We are not restricted as creatures, the only barriers we have are put in place by our minds...

Think back to being a child...did you care about science or religion in the same way that you do now? (You may not care for either anymore, or never did, or always have and always will) did your imagination take you to places far greater and more exciting then anything the grey world of the system has to offer?
Did you dream of being something more then this?
Did that dream get crushed? So crushed that you can't even remember having such a thought?

My childhood was full of dragons and swords, goblins and princesses...the stories were something else back then, a doorway into reality that was far more wondrous then the world of my senses...these common senses that bind us all together...

What of auras? Could you see them when you were young?
I could, I'm sure of it...just as I can see them now (not right now, because I'm the only one here)...I give you all a tiny experiment, don't have any preconceptions of what the results will be and just give it a little go...

Ask a child (aged between 2-10) what your favourite colour is?
(hopefully the child will not be to far into the systemization process and will tell you what he/she thinks your favourite colour is based on your aura)...
They may not pick your favourite colour, but they will pick what colour your aura is...kids don't tell adults they can see aura because adults can't see them and brush children off as being "just children", in the same way that our species hypnotic arrogance keeps us from communicating with animals correctly...

So "Common Sense" seems only to exist as a concept inside the minds of everyone who has benched marked what is common and what counts as sense...for it makes sense to not sleep with your sister, but in ancient Egypt the pharaohs had to marry their sisters...go and work that one out...
