A poem of Tragedy
Thank you we say with sincerity
To a kind stranger helping us out with a flat
He welcomes us back with a smiled reply
and a wish of good luck for the day

Now we feel quite relieved
In our minds we believe
its time to get back on the road

As we ready to go
we've let our guard down too low
deceit has stolen our way

Abruptly scenes change
something said seems strange
how quickly we've become
this stranger's deranged desire

unleashing a fear in you
so terrifyingly true
making nightmares you had as a child
seem mild

"This stranger is still loose today"
the newspapers will say
only they call him the "COURTEOUS KILLER"

I always thought that this kind of thing
happened in other places to other people
now long forgotten
I hope no one ever forgets about me
