One man's thoughts on love lost
Things were so wonderful when we first met.

We thought we had found something special.

We shared the same bed and enjoyed emotion and passion.

From our love came a family we adored.

We didn’t always see eye to eye, but thought close enough.

But when times got tough, only our emotions were more hurtful than our words.

The hatred.  The animosity.  The hostility.

Their effect too caustic for our bonds to endure.

First we stayed for the sake of the kids; in the end it was for them that we parted.

Water under the bridge prevents a rekindle. All that’s left are memories and scars.

I’m sorry things ended the way they did, but I wish you happiness for all of your days.

I truly hope you soon find someone to love for the rest of your life.
