Oh, what have I done? What can I or could I do?
Oh, what have I done? What can I or could I do?
It won't, it can't. Will I leave it alone?
The people stare, I know why. But it can't leave me to be me
by myself in fear.
This thing and I will dance in for the chance to leave it in
the sleeve of my jacket.
Reach into my pocket put the bulb into the socket....
FLASH.... now I see it
Running to hide in the shadow that i've made.
It's afraid to see me see it in the light
But it has forgotten, I have eyes in my back.
And we will spin as the moon rises up and up.
I'll search for it with the light from my pocket as it
jumps from shadow to shadow.
My ears and fingers look for it and my eyes and feelings
will explore it.
But I wish, I wish to the highest star, the one closest
to where you are
that I would find it to me.
It walks on the stairs and travels miles and miles to some place, no where
