A poem about what happens when someone is left alone to die in an unfamiliar place.
With this scar in the sky I am destined to walk in darkness,
Feeling your name on my skin as I seek you out.
Would you answer if I still remained in these cries,
Could you ignore the pain in these broken shouts?
Did you know that with each breath they draw closer,
Your tormented lies will prove to be our end.
If you were in my place would you give me over?
I see it in your eyes, girl, you cant pretend.
I've fallen much farther than I can climb,
Though even in shadow the light remains.
Here we run out of strength with the loss of our time,
And end up like them with a weak will stained.
