A poem from my depressed-ish phase.
Burning Desire

This burning desire
down deep in my heart,
is burning so hot
its tearing me apart.
I try to ignore it
try to forget,
but this burning inside
it just wont quit.
To douse it with water
could put out the flame,
to end all the burning
and stop all the pain.
But the only way
to stop this all now,
is to put an end
to this life somehow.
