This poem is about greed and lies in todays society
Drifting away into sadness again,
Greed has neither name, nor face.
It's identity not in shadow, nor skin,
And it comes and goes with no trace.

It strickes wih no prior warning,
Tearing apart lovers, and dreams.
It transforns friends into enemies,
And splits families apart at the seams.

Lies are its closest companion,
Carrying out devious plans as the spread.
Morals are to often set aside,
And faith, all to often left for dead.
