This is a poem about the need for love , the destractions it causes.
THE VALENTINE

Love is misinterpreted in so many ways-
It is self-infatuation that is our blinding haze-
Someone is always running, while others always chase-
Between love and death, it is life we should embrace-
It’s been here all along and is never hard to find-
For some there is no need for miracles or supernatural signs-
Loss of control can make you fear the falling at anytime-
But the fear is only that, and cannot go beyond the mind-
Cupid pricked himself with his arrow and fell in love with his maker-
No longer observing them game-
He has now become a player-
