The poem speaks about how a faithful a person's love can be.....
The Little Box

Love, wrapped gracefully in blue lace
The box stood stationary in the corner
An abandoned place full of dust
Waits to eat its colors away

It still looked the same as yesterday
Carefully wrapped with lace and all
With the thoughts stuck in it for long
Which the remained with it and not lost

The box remained so still
Despite being nearly cursed
And so gleamed its blue lace
Despite being stuck in the corner

Yes, the box stood so still
Remained there, not asking
Of why abandon it and all
For it can never speak

Oh yes, the box stood still
And accepted its cursed fate
For the receiver preferred another
Way above the box

Time now passed by
And the dust slowly crept
It tried to eat the box
And fade its colors away

The box remained still and brave
Not moving an inch from its place
Still fresh with the givers thoughts
Embracing its sole intention

And yes, the box stood still
Stained, but alive
Faithfully waits for the time
The receiver accepts the gift it offers

- dedicated to my “way”….. >_<
