Enslaved by love is not what I want to be
Created by the mind
Powered by the soul
Guided by the spirit
What I wish it was

Breaking away
Freedom aimed
Angled into precision
It slips

Could not turn back
Dealt with what has become the outcome
Missing the truth when everything had been said and done

Regrets fall into tears
Hoping things will turn out better
Before it all falls apart
Before she wishes her thoughts
