After the loss of trust.
Broken promises--no tomorrow;
Only heartache, pain and sorrow.
Lonely days--empty nights;
Without love, nothing seems right.
Daydreams gone, the days grow dim.
He thinks of her, she thinks of him.

Where has love gone?
Why did it go?

Promises made--never kept.
Lonely nights, alone she wept.
Where is he? He never came.
Upon him she put the blame.
Angry words--often told.
Empty arms, nothing to hold.

No truth in words--only lies
When truth is gone, love dies.
