I'm telling my love how much I care

Eyes of blue that sparkle and shine
Lips much sweeter than my favorite wine

Hair of silver, softer than silk
Smoother even,  than a new mother's milk

Heart both torn and healing too
Arms outstretched to hold only you

Smiling, staring, reading and caring
Sharing his heart,  his soul he is baring

Loving you is so easy to do
First your heart, your home and family too

You tell me your love can be vile and mean
I understand, you were betrayed by the queen

Going to church, worshiping God
Praying in earnest for His special nod

Asking His blessing for this love so new
I know in my heart,  He sent you

He knows we're afraid and fearful it's true
"Always include Me,  the rest you can do"

So I'm asking today,  my love, my friend
Will you stand with He and I to the end
