This is about falling in love with the right one, God.
God’s grace is the elixir of my soul.
It pulled out of the darkness that sought to take control.
His wisdom called to me from a voice found deep within.
Finding its way through the murky depths of me:
  penetrating doubt,
  overcoming fears,
  saving me from loneliness,
  cleansing me from rejection,
  restoring my faith.
His presence was always near.

Oh but to just know His name is to unleash upon you His salvation!
For unto me He called, pray!
I lay hopelessly in despair, deaths hand at my breast, sorrows swallowing me whole.
Men laughed and women rejoiced, while evil danced to the beat of my destruction.
Pray! He called again for even through the self-pity wrapping me in chains,
my God refused to give up on me, forcing me to call out His name.
For my life was one He intended to save!
His claim to me long ago made.
He would not let me go.
Through Him, my Lord Jesus, I was born again!

The covering of flesh does cause me transgression.
Temptations have come, some have been answered,
but even lost in the shadows, my God’s love kept me.
He kept me His and by His grace He bought me out of sin over and over again,
until I learned to walk by faith not by sight.

For who but the Lord can transcend the spirit and break through the flesh,
restoring the broken and even those laid to rest.

Doubters say I should not believe,
For all the things I accomplish are accomplished solely by me.
Oh but pity to them.
My heart does go out,
For God’s strength in my sorrows always bought me out.
Oh but to know...to know, to know, to know that no man is left to strive alone.
If he but learns to listen when God speaks to his soul.
