Refrain of my Soul

Blue skys in the past and grey ahead

These bitter thoughts fill my head

What once was found, forever lost

My soul inside has paid the cost

Outside scarred and inside torn

The sweetest love my mind lived for

Heart is lost and mind distraut

I cannot ken my torn up heart


Time has passed and I linger on

My tortured soul to tomb of love

Mistakes I've made, My scars the proof

My razorblade the misty truth

Soul has healed I still go on

My Paper heart still holds strong

I will hold on for yet it seems

The grey skys have faded with the age

In this light my soul will shine
