A short poem regarding the rumour that King Arthur was buried at Glastonbury Tor.
Amongst the Levels in England's west
Stands the Tor; high and higher still
Was the King of Britons laid to rest
Beneath this mystic hill;

Was the King's final request
To return to the Island of Avalon
Did his fallen Knight come to confess
At the grave his King had set upon;

Beneath the Tor, at his behest
Free from sword and spear
Etched on a cross upon his crest
"Here lies King Arthur and his wife, Guinevere."
