A sequel to the DBZGT series with an even bigger plot (XL)
WOW… I can’t believe DBZ is actually over. GOOD TIMES. I finally got to see the new Wrath of the Dragon movie and I have to admit that it was pretty good. I really wish Funimation/TOEI would come out with a new DB series though… GT was just irritating!

N-E-WAYZ…I have come up with a continuation of my own which may or may not suck. That’s why I need some help if anyone wants to add some good constructive criticism.

I tried to add in elements of all the DB series; but beware… the first chapter is kind of like the first episode of DBZ and a bit boring. The action doesn’t start right off, but don’t worry… there’s sure to be intense fighting. Also, this story is more for teen-related audiences. Rated for blood and intensity.

BTW, I am not in affiliation with Bird Studio/Shueisha, TOEI, Funimation, Mr. Toriyama or any other producer and/or person who ever worked on or edited the DBZGT series in any way, shape, or form. THE END. Now let’s dive into the next life.

The following is totally fictional although I did take some ideas from the DBAF fandom.

DBXL; GYGA SAGA

Episode 1

Over 100 years have past since that fateful day when Goku gave his life to restore peace and the Dragon balls left the world forever. Pan, now a great-grandmother, settled down with her great-grandson Goku Jr. and everything seemed perfect. But then, Pan became ill and it was up to Junior and his new friend Puck to travel to Mt. Paoz to save her. Along the way, the two encountered many strange and unpredictable characters including a shape shifter and a talking chicken, but in the end they managed to overcome the odds and Pan was cured of her ailment. Junior also received a very important gift as well, the four-star dragon ball from Son Goku himself.

But now is a time for rejoicing, for after many years the family is once again meeting. And today, at the old Grandpa Gohan’s shrine, our heroes are about to get a big surprise that could very well endanger the peaceful life in which they all live.

“Goku…? Where are you?” Pan called out for her great grandson. He and Puck were always off on adventures lately. She walked through the familiar forests, searching for him. They were going to be late for the reunion if he didn’t hurry up and get ready!

She heard a sound in the bushes and out of instinct, looked for the nearest object… which happened to be a rock. She threw it at the bush, thinking a wild beast was hiding, only to hear a familiar squeal and Goku Jr. fell out half-way dazed. Puck jumped out soon after surprised.

“Hey! Why’d you do that?” He yelled.

“Ooops! Goku are you alright, honey?” Pan cried out.

Goku Jr. groaned and rubbed his head. “Yeah, no problem great grandma… just a little bump.”

“Well, c’mon!” Pan continued. “We got to get ready for the reunion!”

When they finally arrived at the old Grandpa Gohan’s shrine, most of their friends and family was already there waiting for them. A huge gathering it was. A picnic blanket had been spread out and a grand buffet had been laid out by the women, catering to the men’s large appetites.

Pan skimmed out all the familiar faces; there was her younger brother by 15 years, Gosha, and his great grandson and great granddaughter Goshin and Nymph, Tien and Chiaotsu (still alive because of their alien blood), 17 and 18 (still alive because of them being artificial humans), the late Bra’s granddaughter Sox and her husband Uri, a relative of Majuub’s, and their children VJ and Lingerie, and Sox’s younger brother by thirteen years, Boxer. She approached her younger brother who was busy roasting some fresh fish over an open flame.

He was tall… taller than her father had been and very muscular after years of training. She knew that he had experienced a lot of pain in the past and by training, it helped him cope with his losses… though she didn’t see the point in this day in time. Nothing had happened in over a century, and it all seemed pathetic for her brother, now an old man, to be chasing a childish dream of becoming better than even their grandpa. She sighed.

“Still training, huh?”

Gosha looked up from his fish and smiled at her. “SO… you finally decided to get here did you, sis? Late as always…”

“Hey! You were the one that was always late, not me! Karate bum!” Pan wandered why she had said that.

Gosha smirked. “… and after all these years, you still turned into Grandma!”

“Hey,” a small voice interjected, “don’t fight… we’re supposed to be having fun!” Both of them looked down. It was Goshin.

Gosha’s great grandson was small and innocent, but he had a load of potential… they all knew that. Especially after he was born with a tail. Not only that, but for some reason, he had also been born with long white hair and tail fur even though it did not run in the family.

“Goshin! How old are you now?” Pan exclaimed. “You’ve gotten so big!”

“I’m five… see?” He held up five fingers.

“Wow… good job. Has my brother been teaching you?”

“No, usually Sox and my older sister teaches me.”

Pan gave Gosha a stern look, but he just looked away. Goku Jr. and Puck had went to go talk to VJ and Lingerie, so Pan decided to leave her brother to talk to Sox and Uri. Sometimes he was just stubborn! Gosha sideways glanced at his sister. She was just too stubborn to understand what he was going through.

As it turned out, Pan appeared at just the right time, because Goku Jr. and VJ had gotten into another argument about who “rightfully” should’ve won the Junior Martial Arts Tournament and as usual EVERYONE was trying to keep VJ from blowing his top.

“Now calm down VJ!” Sox cried out.

“Count to ten…” suggested Uri.

“Use meditation… works for me!” Tien replied.

“Think happy thoughts!” exclaimed Chiaotsu.

“How about we just let them fight?” 17 asked. “I’m bored anyway.”

He shrank back as everyone glared.

“THAT CHEATER! HE CHEATED! I SHOULD HAVE WON!” VJ was yelling. “ I DESERVED THAT VICTORY!”

“You’re right… you should’ve won,” Junior acknowledged. “I was just lucky.”

“GOT THAT RIGHT!”

“What’s going on?” Pan asked. “What do you mean he should’ve won?”

“C’mon Auntie Pan! Don’t tell me you didn’t see the end of the match!” Nymph cried out.

“Uh… something else caught my attention, sorry.”

“Well," Goku Jr.began, "When VJ and I was fighting, he went to do a galick gun attack, but forgot to plant his feet firmly and sent himself flying backwards out of bounds. BTW, he missed.”

“ I DID NOT MISS! YOU DODGED IT! WHY COULDN’T YOU HAVE STOOD STILL?”

“Why can’t you shut up?” 17 grumbled and 18 smacked the back of his head.

At just that moment, everyone heard a buzzing noise through the tree tops and something zoomed past them, splintering a tree in the background. The next thing Pan knew, Gosha came running over to them at break-neck speed. “Get down! Get down! Our reunion’s been cut short! We’re under attack!”

As soon as he had said that, a torrent of bullets zipped through the tree canopy and rained down on them. Everyone ducked and covered as Gosha pulled out his inheritance, Original Goku’s power pole, from the shoulder strap her wore. Thinking quickly, he jumped out in front of the barrage, and twirled the pole in front of him, blocking the projectiles. Then, sensing the source of gunfire, he leapt up in the air and thrust his pole downward over a certain tree.

“There,” he thought. “POWER POLE EXTEND!”

The pole stretched down at the tree so fast that Gosha could hear from his altitude a loud “BAM” as it hit something solid. It quickly descended toward it’s target, Gosha with it.

When the dust cleared, Gosha saw the broken tree he had hit and his target laying in the midst of the broken wood.

The others slowly lifted themselves to take a peek.

“Stay down!” Gosha hollered over to them, and they obeyed without question. Gosha was the one who had been training the longest. He obviously knew when there was danger.

Gosha slowly crept over to the green-hooded figure that now laid crumpled out on the ground. Surely he had not killed him. He thrust out the nyobo staff and poked at the figure. Just then, it withered away into nothing more than a shadow...

"What the-" before he could get the words out, the shadow lept up from the ground and encased him in a cacoon of darkness. He screamed out in agony as he felt the pain of twenty years ago...that same day those he loved were gone forever...

"I know what pains you..." A sinister voice whispered in his ear. " Allow me to show you..."
