Poem dedicated to my fiancee who passed away
How do I find the words to say goodbye
When all I really want is one more try
How do I turn and walk away
When I know I only want to stay

Where do I find the strength to carry on
When with you is the only place I feel I belong
How do I know this choice I made is right?
Should I have stayed? Put up more of a fight?

What do I do now you are gone -
How do I find the will to be strong
Where do I find the will to survive
When without you, I feel less than alive
At the begininning we were strong;
quite the pair
But our mistakes took us to a place of
utter despair

Perhaps, If I gave you your wings to fly free
You'd be able to soar, unencumbered by me
If it's freedom you seek, then free you should be
Take to the skies, and find your true destiny

I will wait for the day, when I too will fly
My time I shall bide, and I'll try not to cry
I need you to be happy, and not worry for me
I'll soon fly beside you, and we will both soar free

Fly free my love....Fly free!
