Description of a breaking point.
Lifeless, broken at my feet,
Dying slowly in the street,
My heart beats faster in my chest,
It starts to hurt, I need to rest,
I grab my throat, I can’t get air,
My lips turn blue, I pull my hair,
Becoming weak, I begin to fall,
Helplessly grab for the blood-stained wall,
Piercing pain as I hit the ground,
Desperate choking is the only sound,
All the lights begin to fade,
It is the end, the dues are paid,
Darkness arrives, no more day,
Paralyzed, nothing I can say,
Painful knives begin to stab,
Running fast to catch the cab,
Cries echo in the night,
I’ve fallen victim to this fight,
Endless lies and broken dreams,
Bleeding throat from desperate screams,
Help for I am going to die,
Fearful, alone I begin to cry,
Nobody left, I’m on my own,
Out, escapes a dying moan,
Angels come and take me away,
For in this life I cannot stay.
