Faded Love

Before my crush faded
I thought I loved you
I thought one day we would be together
i hoped you would be mine
i dreamed of us always kissing
but when you told me you didn't like me that way
You tore my still beating heart out of me
Puposely dropping it
stomping it till' it was crushed to pieces
I wondered if it wasn't meant to be
But now the crush has died
The love is gone
Someone may take my breath away someday
But I'm glad we are friends.
