Crow helps a man who is trying to understand the universe.
Falling Off The Edge of The World

He stood at the edge of the abyss.
Staring at the emptiness – he tried to understand the universe.
He though that if he concentrated enough,
He would become wiser than his years.

Crow watched – waiting for the moment between life and death.
But still the man did not step over the edge.
Impatient, crow flew over to him,
Landing on a nearby rock.

“If you want to understand the universe,” said Crow.
“You have to become one with it. Let me show you how.”
Crow launched himself directly at the man.
He stumbled and fell. Crow watched him tumble to into oblivion.

He seemed to fall forever.
He saw angels fall and demons rise.
He saw battles fought – lost and won.
He saw stars being born, burn brightly and fade.

He saw the hope and dreams of many die.
He saw the people of Earth lose their way.
He saw the darkness that existed in the light.
He saw it all – He saw the Truth.

His eyes now open, he realises that he is no longer falling.
He is standing, where he has always been – at the edge of the world.
He falls to his knees, weeping for all of creation.
Crow sits still upon the rock and speaks. “Now you understand.”
