This is a poem I wrote shortly after my husbands grandmother died.
Whilst you are dreaming
Up there by yourself
I am here weeping
Forlorn: by myself.

I know that you wish
All the things for me
As I once wished all
Things for thee!

I must stop this moping
All around, it’s just
My way of coping
As you now understand.

Now that you are with Him
And I am below
I wish you to know
That you are loved so!
