Poem: metaphor for baby being born.
My entrance was grand
There were lights, action and a camera
to capture my winning performance
they gave me a hand
a standing ovation
pulled me free
so I could see the world
upside down
a smile is a frown
I could feel the pain
rain fell from their eyes
caught me by surprise
I quickly realized
it was my cue
so I did what any baby would do
I cried
