Disease of the personality.

Sting of carbonated escape
tickles tingling throat

Inflamed bags distract
from blood shot whites

Whimpers of staged
misery echo the need
for attention

Your dry mouth rasps
weak complaints.

The disease affects your body,
and my mind.
