To help us see the things we sometimes do not want to see.
I saw an old lady along side the road,
I only wondered why she stood so bold.
To see the frail look upon her face,
Of a fragile old lady who seemed out of place.
How many would stop to help her out?
How many would pass without a doubt.
She new god sent her to test the faith,
Of those who knew all about grace.
She pick the road to stand upon,
She was an angel,
But who would know?
She seems so meek and very mild,
God sent her here for us all to smile,
To lend a hand and not pass by her,
Instead thank god of an angel with a smile.
So when you see someone in need,
Stop and think god will see.
So lend a hand or offer a prayer.
For god will bless you and make you smile.
