The end of a relationship from one womans perspective.
She slipped the ring off of her hand
and placed it on the table.
No more tears were to be shed,
to cry she was not able.

She gave her love unendingly,
yet begged for his to be returned.
She prayed each day he'd come to see
that his was all she craved and yearned.

All she'd want was a gentle kiss
with two strong arms to hold her tight.
For sparks and passion to fill the air
when they joined together in the night.

Tender words to be whispered
lovingly in her ear.
to be told he thought her beautiful;
these things she ached to hear.

To love and trust another
could prove to be to much.
It would take her destined one
to show her loves true touch.
