the journey to victory for those who roam far from their distant homes.
The Song of the Western War

So far from home we roam these foreign lands
we seek the light of day
no more this war has wraught us from these hands
so cold, this winter game
We fought with thoughts of coming here again,
to see the summer nights
The silver moon shone down until the end,
so long, we had to fight
The midnight sun has come to aid us now,
with dimming light of day
This day we won, yet still we know not how,
the clouds now turn from grey
We leave for home, our day is finally done,
no more, this winter game
So far from home we roamed, but now we've won,
we've found the light of day
