This is merely a work in progress for me. I have re-visited the plot many times.
I wouldn't say it was love. No. More like...intrigue. Allow me to explain: I was not bound to him so by his aura, but his ways. Besides the fact, our 'love' would never be accepted anyone anyway. He was almost like...My father, my maker, and my lover. A macabre twist of roles in a relationship. The fact remained all the same. We needed each other.

When you're in one place for so long....you forget that there's a world outside...Outside the place of your birth, the fog surrounding your home...The rain would always melt the colors of the world around me together. Almost as if by the hand of a child with a water color. My water color town.

He kept me in the house alot. I never knew why. Occasionally he would stop reading his leather bound books long enough to say, 'You look nice today..'in a small mutter. He wasn't really my father. For, a human cannot father a cat. He was however, a powerful alchemist. I never cowered as I watched him conduct odd expieriments or cast intricate spells...I never lost respect for him. Not once. I had even seen him become what he became. And I still stood by his side.

I remember when he first found me. I was mezmerized by his extremely rare beauty: Long silken black hair, icy blue eyes, pale porcelin skin. He was a masterpiece written by God himself...or maybe...someone darker. I wasn't sure. He picked me up with gentle hands. ' They must fear you, lovely one. 'Because you wear a coat of black, and your eyes are shifty and sly. They say you are a feline from Hell do they not?..They say the same about me...Well, I think you are beautiful. Come. Live with me.'
Everything he spoke was correct. And I was stockstill with the fact that a human would speak to a cat so kindly. He storked my ears and whispered,'Lunara'.
My new name. Lunara.
The power of one's name is un-rivaled. And I cannot seem to remember any name before it. I did not need do. He walked with me in his arms and I longed to speak to him. But, sadly I came back to harsh reality. I was an animal. And I would never be able to speak with this man.

          Or so...I thought.

                            to be continued....
