Another random poem
Stars shine and my vision is empty
All along this lonely road.
Fields and trees are all I see
This burden is a hefty load.

Dragons whistled softly in your ear
And sang you to sleep when dawn was nowhere near
Angels kissed away the sorrows on your face
Sang lullabies of deliverance, of unending grace.

Stars shine in a moonlit sky
For me, the night drags on and on
Each step a little closer, nearly touching,
Nearly reaching the threads of clouds, low and long.

Spiderwebs were made of gold in your world
Kinks and curls were made on fingertips to be twirled
You’ve never known true sorrow or despair
I’m glad of my experiences, ones you’ll never share.
