My life is a caged bird
And I'm bound in ropes
With arsenic rainstorms
Drowning my hopes

My life is a mousetrap
And I am the mouse
With cats always scratching
The door of my house

My life is a labyrinth
Tainted with moss
In sharp jagged pathways
I always get lost

Each day brings new sadness
Each night brings new rage
If life is a cged bird
Then I am the cage.
