The first paragraphs of a love story. Criticism wanted.
In a dark room a slender girl with long brown hair, paces back and forth with a look of desperation on her face. Two others are slightly visible in the room. In the far back by a window, stands a tall boy with dark brown hair. The last person is sitting on the floor. It is a girl with short blond hair that seems expressionless as the other girl paces around the room. Finally the girl with brown hair says something. "We can't take this waiting anymore. It is driving us insane. Aden, you say that you love us both, but you have to choose one of us. We both love you, and we can take what ever decision you make." She stops pacing as she finishes talking, and looks over at the boy called Aden.

Aden turns toward the window that's behind him, and puts his back to the two girls. "I love you both," he says softly,"making this decision tares me apart in more ways than anyone could possibly imagine. Before I give you an answer, I feel that it is only fair that I tell you how I came to this conclusion." As he begins to turn toward the girls, he leans against the wall lighting a cigarette. He opens the window next to him slightly to let the smoke out, but the rain outside keeps him from opening it anymore. The two girls come closer to him in hopes of finding their answer. As the two girls approach Aden, the story of how their love triangle begins to show itself.

Aden grew up in an up-beat society that included sex, drugs, cheating, gambling, raves, and gangs. He wasn't part of this society because he knew that it wasn't what he wanted. He knew how to get along with everyone, but just refused to give in to their ideals. It wasn't that he didn't like the people or the things they did, but rather that he was different in more ways than one. He was a romantic, a writer, and a friend. While people were betraying each other, he was there to pick up the pieces. Aden became the guy to go to when all hope was lost. At only the age of seventeen, Aden became one of the few decent guys in his whole society.

Although Aden has different beliefs compared to most people, he still has friends that refuse to give in to the society around them. Aden's three best friends names are Dominic, Marissa, and Ashley. Dominic is more outgoing and athletic than Aden, and also is one of the most highly looked upon by girls. He is just like Aden because everyone likes him. He is the stereo-typical star athlete of the school. Aden is tall, well-built, and intelligent with blond hair and hazel eyes

Marissa is an energetic girl that all the boys love. She's average height, nice body, flexible, and pretty smart, and she has long brown hair and light green eyes. She's a cheerleader for the football team, and every guy describes her in the same word, gorgeous. The only problem is she's Dominic's younger sister. Out of the group, Marissa is the youngest and most loved.

Still there is one more in the group. Ashley is the silent one of the group. She's tall, skinny, wears glasses, mysterious, and beautiful in every way. She has shoulder length blond hair and dark blue eyes. Although she is silent and shy, every guy in school knows her because of her looks. In reality though, she is far from silent. When she is with Aden, there is no stopping her from talking. Ashley is the only senior girl that Aden actually socializes with outside of school.
