A poem about nature clearing your mind
I walk through the woods
When life doesn’t go my way
I take in account all my goods
And pray for a better day

It’s funny the way the outdoors
Soothes my soul
How I forget my chores
And my sins as dark as coal

I walk in silence
I walk in peace
No more violence
And the noise has ceased

My mind finds something
That before didn’t seem there
Then it’s gone like a summer fling
And its absence I can’t seem to bear

It’s the feeling you get when your minds free and clear
When there’s nothing in your way
After you’ve shed every tear
And said all there is to say

I continue my journey through the woods and the mind
I walk and my face wears a smile
As I break the barrier my brain was once confined
I think a brand new thought and decide to stay awhile
