A report calls upon her sister and a friend to help her solve a murder mystery
It was another night, the same nightmare as Diamond Hart woke up in sweat in the dead of night. Her long blondhair stringy due to the sweating. Darkness surrounded her as she jumped from her bed and turned on the lamp on the desk right next to her. Diamond dimmed her eyes for a moment as her eyes adjusted to the light. She shook her head in disbelief asshe looked at the time. Three o' clock. It seems she has been waking up earlier each day as her nightmare occurs. Diamond didnt know what her dreams could mean but her friend Tracy Reed thought it could be something important or something she had forgotten. but Diamond knew she hadnt forgotten a thing. She could remember everything sincce she was a little girl living in the Storm Mansion in Utica, New York. No she knew these dreams had to be something important, a warning of some sort, she was sometimes waking up screaming soaked with sweat in the middle of the night she knew something was wrong.
Diamond rose from her bed and looked out the window to see the empire state building standing tall in the New York City christmas weather. christmas was around the corner and not as of yet she hadnt done any christmas shopping for her kids nor her friends. she knew she only two days left to figure out what she would do. As she walked away frm her window she looked around the room to make sure everything was in order and also make sure no one came in and changed anything cause she would know. since her son was at her ex husbands place diamond had the penn house to herself and felt lonely about the situation of her husband having har four year old son for the holidays. Diamond hardly saw her daughter anymore now and days but diamond knew being twenty one was the age of escape.
she walk to the bathroom and looked in the mirror as she felt a cold coll breeze hit her back. The hair started to raise as she felt the breeze.Diamond knew she had left a window open some where inside the house but was too tired to go find it. She turned to the mirror again as her face began to turn pale white to the horror that her eyes looked at. she stood still as her heart skipped beats and she looked into the face of not herself but a hooded figure.
