Bitter End
Words of discomfort and pain leaving the lips of the ones we once called friends,
has caused their once strong relationship to a bitter end.

No longer can he see the radiant glow in her ebony eyes,
no more can he comfort her when she cries.

Pushing away the one who cares for her the Lion's Share,
an act they both know is the opposite of fair.

She knows that a piece of her heart wants to be with him,
she thinks these feelings are look upon as a sin.

He must hold his tongue and respect her wishes,
preying that one day he can once again feel her gentle kisses.

Longing to hold her warm body to his own, but from his
arms her love and joy was torn.
