Bearing my cross
holding it on my shoulders
I walk the path of my befores.
The fear, the rage
the inability to forgive myself
dot the beaten path
My beautiful flowers of misery
I stumble over the rotted pieces of me
Falling flat on my face
in the mud
and I drown myself
in my tears
