A poem i wrote, probly my favorite out of what i have written. a simple poem bout life.
I am the Jester in this court called life,

I make you laugh and relieve your strife.

I make you think and make you feel,

I offer you a wondrous deal.

I will listen, and I will hear,

I will tell you never fear.

For the Jester is here to assist

With no thought as to the risk.

I'll tell you everything's alright,

And wait with you thru the night.

I'll make sure to do my best,

To ease your mind and put you to rest.

And when I am finished with my job,

I will not your pocket rob.

Instead, I ask one simple thing,

That you let yourself sing.

Just dance and run and have great joy,

And all life's sorrows do not avoid.

Live each moment as it was your last

Embrace the future, remember the past.

Give in to life and let it flow,

But never surrender, never let go.

And as for me, I know my place.

It's here, as jester of the human race.
