This is basically a "you cant conform me" or "basic teenage rebellion" poem
I’m outrageous.
Contagious.
Singing my insults like the truth they are.
Speaking my mind to the groove of the world.
The beat.
The rhythm.
Envelops, surrounds and encircles me
The melody of the earth,
The space,
The life all around inspires
Till I perspire
From all of that
Hip hopping
Base thumping
Beat drumming
Mind blowing screams.
I don’t hide what I mean,
Or beat around the bush.
Ain’t a muffler on my mouth
Cuz I’m singing loud,
Singing proud.
Uncensored.
Making parents gasp,
Kids blush,
Rebels proud
And conformers go mocking,
Cuz my primped up self
Isn’t ever going to match
Their bleach blonde hair,
Faked tan legs,
Torn up jeans
And designer apparel.
Cuz I’m outrageous,
Slightly contagious
And I refuse,
I REFUSE,
To hold anything back.
So go back to your mindless talk, and your ditzy ways
Go ahead and be blind to the world,
I don’t care cuz somewhere out there
Is someone who’s contracted my disease,
My disease to see the truth,
To feel the beat
To rhyme and jam
And groove
With life.
