Living Life.....When Fate Intervenes.....
Life. Who would've thought it can be sooo crazy! I guess it would'nt be such an adventure if you had a crystal ball and could see the future or if you did the same thing everyday, day after day. It would get stagnant and be quite boring, yet safe in some aspects. I prefer to think "outside the box" and live life to the fullest. Some people would say I am crazy, I prefer opportunistic and adventurous. I don't diss things until I've tried them and will try most things at least once. You never know what is around the next turn, hill, incline, mountain, forest, river, or lake. Sometimes positive or negative. I try to "expect the unexpected" but sometimes get caught off guard. The past few weeks have been amazing. I fell in "love" over the phone. (I would've never thought that could happen, but it did).....I ended up falling for a fake instead. What is strange, is I did not let it get to me. I am so proud of myself as I have grown up enough to not let others actions affect me. I can rememeber getting so angry when someone would hurt my feelings and would react so horribly. Now, I can let if "roll off" and know that they are someone I do not want to know or be around. This has happened with many people I thought were friends and turned out not to be, as well as potential partners/lovers.

I have been feeling great for the past few weeks because I have learned to LOVE myself! I did not used to. In fact, it is so strange as I have been feeling almost anointed. I had been looking through my closet and there were some items I needed as well as needed to get rid of. I received some "super savings" coupons in the mail from one of my favorite stores and decided to go in and see what they had. I went there and on the day I went, they were having a "one day only sale" and the items I went for were all 50% off. I picked up a few other things as well from the clearance racks and then saw a dress I could not resist on the full price rack. My coupons saved me quite a lot and ended up walking out paying 70% less than if I would've if shopped without the coupons and sale racks.

I have a great job that involves traveling and surveying people that I do not know. It is really fun and 90% of the time, I meet really neat people who are all interesting and have gleaned much knowledge from all who've had conversations with. I cover a large area a couple counties large. I met the most neatest woman the other day and made a new friend doing my job. We had a lot in common and had a great talk while I surveyed her. It was great as she had a little girl who loves Disney Princess stuff. She lives in area where there are not too many stores and to get to the stores where they have that stuff, it is a long trip so doesn't happen too often. Strangely, I had picked up a bunch of Disney Princess stuff on clearance at a store that was closing out for good, and was for a reason that no longer existed. I was trying to figure out what to do with all of the items as they were not returnable and had thought of a few people with girls who I could give the stuff to on birthdays etc. but still had a few items that was not sure what to do with. I was thinking the "Goodwill" as did not know anyone else but hesitant as the Goodwill can be way overpriced for a "thrift store". I had left and was thinking about offering her the items but was not sure how she would feel. I was down the road a ways when I realized I left my jacket at her place, I turned around and went back and briefly explained the situation and offered her the items. She seemed quite shocked but grateful and her daughter was exstatic.....she was so happy and smiled big and waved goodbye. The woman kept saying "thank you" and I just said.....no problem....I would rather see them go to someone who will use them than take them to the Goodwill. I made a new friend, made a little girls day and did my job....what more could one ask for?

I had a job offer that will make my life much easier and where I don't have to work soooo much. (I have been working 2 jobs for the last 2 years ~ one full-time one and one part-time. I haven't got many days off in those 2 years and had to bust ass to be able to take time off and still keep all my bosses happy. I have started to feel worn out this year) It is sooooo awsome and I am so grateful as I get to spend more time with my wonderful son!!! He has been such a trooper with me working sooo much and actually helps me out when he can. Now we get to do stuff together which he has been asking me for. He just wants his mom to be home more. I totally agree!!! I have paid almost all of my debt and can cover my bills now with only one job.....Woo Hoo!!! One thing I have ingrained in to me now.....DON'T SPEND MONEY YOU DON'T HAVE!!!!!!

Then, my good friend/neighbor had approached me the other day and asked me if I would like to go out next week and said that she knew a guy she wanted me to meet as she knew I had been stood up. She works at a local busy mini-mart so sees/meets lots of people. She said he is younger than me by a few years but she thought we would get along. From the little she told me, it seemed like we would have some things in common. I haven't really thought about being with a younger guy as most men my age that I meet are quite immature so just haven't ever entertained the idea. I agreed and she stated she would get a hold of him and let him know to meet up with us when we go out.

She came to me yesterday and was upset as she had not seen this guy since I agreed to meet up. I said no worries, we will still have fun but she was still upset as she really wanted me to meet this guy. We had decided to go out as had an about an hour and a half until closing time. We went to this one place and I was alright with it, but she did not want to stay because of the younger crowd. We decided to go to this other place with a "live" band which is pretty good and there is a nice dance floor. We went in and ordered a drink and were just "chillin". I got up and danced and we went outside to take a breather. When we walked out, there was a young man out there and she got really excited and turned to me and said "this is the guy I want you to meet". He is a cutie, gorgeous blue eyes, blond, great smile and quite funny. We all ended up talking/hanging out and we did have stuff in common. He is as wild as I am.....maybe even more wild than myself? We all went to leave and he gave me the greatest hug I've had in a long time. I woke up this morning and the sun is shining and the morning has been great so far! I am excited for next week and to see where things go. Regardless, it is fun to date, even if things don't go where you think they might.

Woo Hoo!!!! Life is AWSOME ~ the positive and the negative!!!

Every day is a new adventure waiting to be had!!!
