Two people love one another, one dies and the other is left alone.
In the night upon a hill,
Lay a girl calm and still,
But in her life was fiery hate,
For the one she loved had her fate.

As a comet streaked through the sky,
She wished she knew,
Why, why, why?
“Why was she fated to die,
Why, God why, was it time?”

Though the answer was quite clear,
She did not know the end was near.

She died in vengeance that was not wrong,
She died for love,
That was her song.
She sung and sung,
I love you too,
Our love is strong,
And  I am too.

So many things she wished she’d said,
Now she wished that she was dead.

Her love was lost,
Now and forever.
She knew the cost,
They could be together.

In the end it was not right,
They had to die to win their fight.
To be together was their goal,
And now attached by heart and soul.
