A Forever Unfinished Poem

Pain fills my heart as darkness fills the night
Nothing can make me whole, Noone can make it right
Sorrow is a feeling I live with day to day
I cry myself to sleep at night, Yet everynight I pray
I pray for peace and love, And a joy I've never known
For years I've prayed this prayer, Yet the pain has only grown
I faith all I own? Will my tears forever flow?
If I ever smile again, I'll finish this poem to let you know
