This is a poem about a little girl and her mother going outside during twilight.

Little Girl asked me to fix her hair
And put shoes on her feet, she wants to go somewhere
So I got her already and took her out to play
Sun was setting,Afternoon's heat had gone home for the day
Little Girl's skin's so fair.

She tells Flowers good morning and good-night
Digging in the dirt in Evening's little light
Walking with Dollies and Babies, Mommy's helper all the time
Making up songs that hardly ever rhyme
Wouldn't trade these moments for anything.

She hesitantly says good-bye to Play
The colors of the sky welcome the end of the day
Dark is almost here, we have to go in soon
Little Girl says good morning to Moon
Before rubbing her sleepy eyes
Pointing up at the sky
And asking "Mommy, why is it pink?"
"Because it's your favorite color I think."

"I think so too."
