Reaction to the Virginia Tech Shootings
It is difficult to explain the frustration I feel when I sit and watch the news covering the recent school massacre in Virginia. I feel crummy! I want to cry. I want to scream at the top of my lungs at the shooter, “How dare you take so many lives!” “How dare you create an unnecessary bloodbath! What went through your mind? What was your motive? What made you snap? Why did those thirty-two innocents have to die?
There are so many emotions swelling up inside of me. There are thoughts that I cannot express. First Columbine and now, Virginia Tech. How the world is reeling from such a tragedy and the media calling it the deadliest in U.S. history. I am wondering what God is thinking. I am wondering how we recover from all this as Taps is being played on campus.  How do we move on? How do we put all this behind us?
