Now this poem disturbs me, And it came from my mind!
Laughing the raven spreads its wings
Flying through the confusion of my mind
Mockingly it cries in its obscene tongue
Through the swirling chaos in my head,
The raven flies distorting my thoughts
My blackened dreams seep through
My soul becomes corrupted

Without a sound the black knight moves
Spurring his horse forwards
His skull face grinning
Cold fire burning in hollow eye sockets
In his hand a bloodied scythe
Slashing at my heart
Spilling my essence
Twisting me

In the vast wasteland of my soul
A lake of blood, at its heart
Stirs the daemon
She awakens
Ethereal, beautiful and terrible
Shrouded in haze
She walks ice forming beneath her feet
Her eyes, catlike shining with malice
Her claws tear at my mind
My mind warps

From beneath the seas of my subconscious mind
The kraken surfaces
Baleful eyes from aeons past
Watching me flee
The beast moves closer
Its gaping maw opens
It looms behind me
No escape

In the perpetual twilight
Two figures meet
Hooded and cloaked
Swords drawn
They fight shrouded in eternal fire
Fighting to the edge of the abyss
Swords flashing
They fight towards Armageddon
From their eyes,
As pale light,
Their souls escape and drift away
A mournful wail splits the air
The souls in torment rattle
The dark one draws near
The sky turns to black
The landscape shifts and changes
Rocks flow like water
A freezing fog spreads across the world
The gates have opened
My soul chills

Angels flee as daemons swarm
Across the world disaster spreads
Seeping through from hell
The dark one bends the world to his will
Death reigns triumphant

Walls close in on all sides
I'm trapped
In my cell
In my soul
In my mind
The evil eye
Always upon me
No where to run
No were to hide
No escape
From my cell
From my mind
Madness seeping out
Seeping through
Into my soul
