About a boy.
liar. you're a fucking liar.
I won't believe you anymore.
I’ll never be so naive again,
as to take your words to heart.

shattered hope, broken bones.
I was so close.
dismembered ribs, crush my faith.
I was crawling against the current.
failed attempts, bruised body.
you'll watch it sweep me away.

so bury me within the deepest part of your brain,
make sure no one knows that I’m there.
never, ever speak of me again,
but I’ll be there...hear me whispering,

"you failed that girl you gave up on.
she's dying in your name.
you failed that girl with the broken heart,
I said she's dying in your name."

I doubt you'll care if i fall.
I doubt you'll care if i drown.
I want to disappear.
I doubt you'll care if i eat my heart alive.
I know you won't care if it stopped beating.
I want to disappear.

maybe I'm a danger for myself,
maybe I want someone to save me.
so what if i'm a danger for myself?
maybe I need someone to hold me.

hinder my thoughts, mid-sentence.
stop my thoughts of you,
erase my memories of you.
no amount of comfort can heal the incisions you've made.
nothing could ever remove the things you've said.

liar. you're a fucking liar.
(you deserve nothing but regret)
such a shame that such a girl,
would go to waste from your intolerance.

drowning. dying.
I’ll whisper in your ear,
"you failed that girl you gave up on.
she's dying in your name.
you failed that girl with the broken heart,
i said she's dying in your name."
