Is it meant to be?
They say everything happens for a reason

But this isolation is like that of a prison.

I've been sentenced to two long years

And almost every day I'm reduced to tears.

I hope you won't forget me,

And take me back once I'm free.

And everything will be just like before,

But the happiness will be even more.

If we weren't meant for each other

I hope we'll both find another.

All I want is for you to be happy,

If "Us," isn't what's right, for some time I will be unhappy.

But in time, I presume these feelings will fade

And I'll be glad you never stayed.

As for now, these thoughts I can't get out of my mind.

This love has me blind.

I'm trying to open my eyes and face the facts...

I'm probably never going to get you back...
